Marketing assistant

HTA Design is seeking a marketing assistant to join its team in London, based in Aldgate East.

Contract: permanent
Salary: competitive

HTA Design is an award winning multi-disciplinary design partnership of specialist teams working collaboratively in architecture, landscape architecture, communications, sustainability and planning.

You will work with HTA’s practice and marketing manager to provide first class support for our dynamic and creative marketing and events team and to successfully deliver a range of marketing, events, PR and sales activities. In addition, the marketing assistant will provide administrative support to HTA’s partner team, including our high profile chairman, and our front of house team.

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have:

  • previous experience working in a similar marketing, events and/or office assistant role is strongly desired
  • a good standard of education, a marketing degree is desirable, or equivalent experience
  • an excellent grasp of the English language, both written and spoken
  • strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate confidently by telephone, email and in person with a wide range of people
  • exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong collaborative internal and external working relationships.
  • excellent attention to detail and accuracy, including strong proof reading skills, grammar and spelling
  • strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining a calm disposition under pressure
  • good awareness of design trends and creative thinking, as well as a flair for writing and editing content to a high standard.
  • ability to be proactive, to use initiative, work autonomously and be self-motivated
  • a team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude and a hands on approach with hospitality events and general studio related tasks
  • strong IT skills, with a good grasp of Microsoft Office software and some Adobe Suite (e.g. InDesign, Photoshop) is desirable. Training on Adobe Suite can be given to the successful candidate
  • practical experience of using CMS for websites, social media channels and generally digitally ‘savvy’
  • able to occasionally work flexible hours to assist with events outside of office hours
