Cockram Scenario is looking for a senior design coordinator to join its office in Hong Kong, China.
We are looking for an energetic designer who have experience in Hong Kong BD submission to join our professional team on major theme park projects in Asia.

Main responsibilities:
Architectural/facility/show design specific functions:
- coordinate design efforts with technical teams and related sub-contractors (i.e. reinforced concrete, steel, mechanical, electrical and plumbing trades, local design authorities, retail, food and beverage outlets)
- coordinate design efforts with design counterparts and engineers for mechanical and structural aspects. Lead integration of required architectural drawings and 3D models
- communicate with design counterparts on drawing submission in good quality and full accuracy
- responsible to compile and submit drawings to BD department and to revise drawings if needed·
- record and track all versions of drawings, models, sketches, photos and related materials
- record and track all issues arising from coordination meetings and working sessions
- disseminate all issues to involved parties and assign responsibilities, deadlines and actions to solve issues
- notify project team managers and director of design of any conflicts and issues regarding the master model
- communicate with project team manager to raise questions and clarify problems by means of RFIs
- continue to develop and improve design standards and workflows
- meet schedules and deadlines as established by project management and the master project schedule
Other duties:
- participate in client and design team meetings
- attend construction site meetings and perform site walks regularly
Professional qualifications:
- degree holder in technical design, architecture or engineering field
- a minimum of three years working experience in a design/engineering/construction company
Skills and attributes:
- candidates with experience in drawing submittals to the Hong Kong Building Department is a must
- proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD or Revit software package
- some experience in Autodesk Revit, 3DSMax or Rhino will be a plus
- understanding of construction techniques and virtual construction design is required
- understanding of how to read and produce comprehensive drawing packages is required
- ability to communicate effectively and positively with clients and co-workers is required
- flexibility and ‘can-do’ attitude is essential
- proficiency in written and spoken Cantonese and English is required
