Account executive
Camron PR is seeking an account executive with a strong background in media relations and event management to join its Los Angeles office
Job description
The ideal candidate is a highly organised, detail-oriented individual with two-three years of PR experience and a solid understanding of shelter and lifestyle media.
This position will be responsible for playing a major role in the development and execution of communication and event strategies.
Responsibilities:
- build and maintain targeted lists for national and regional media
- proactively pitch and confirm local and national media
- manage event timelines and coordinate vendors
- liaise with clients to provide timely reports and updates
- oversee event logistics including guest list management and check-in, run of show, and post-event wrap-up and recaps
- seek out suitable local partners and key opinion formers for regional events
Job requirement
- knowledge and understanding of shelter and lifestyle media, including magazines, newspapers, and blogs
- two-three years of public relations and events experience in design, luxury goods, art or a related industry
- bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, journalism, or a related field
- knowledge and/or interest of interior design, home furnishings, and visual culture
- ability to multi-task with shifting priorities
