Receptionist – interior design

Martin Brudnizki Design Studio is seeking a receptionist to join its practice in London. 

A high-end interior design studio based in Chelsea requires a receptionist to join the company.  The position will report to the office manager who will provide guidance, work flow and system training.

The receptionist will join our studio in beautiful Chelsea and provide full receptionist support, acting as first point of contact to clients.

Receptionist duties:

  • full management of the reception desk
  • answer phones and meet and greet visitors
  • order stationery and supplies and keep all areas stocked and tidy
  • managing internal meeting room diaries
  • maintaining the contact database
  • organise monthly team drinks
  • deal with all internal/external mail and manage the studio’s general email account
  • book cars/couriers/office travel
  • liaise with the external IT company on basic items
  • assist the office manager
  • assisting with general ad hoc duties as needed

Receptionist/office assistant person specification:

  • excellent communication skills
  • well presented and polite with a confident and courteous telephone manner
  • common sense, ability to think on your feet and willingness to “muck in”
