Architect
Hyphen is looking for an architect to join its team in London.
Brilliant new opportunity for an enthusiastic architect to join our international and award-winning architectural practice on a permanent basis in our London office. With a wealth of experience providing solutions to a variety of commercial, residential and hospitality projects worldwide, we have gained a number of highly regarded clients. As the selected Architect, you will be leading a small team of creative and friendly professionals on an exciting retail project.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- developing the scope and design of the project in accordance with the client’s brief
- contributing to H&S risk management, acting as the principal designer
- time management of project outputs
- liaising with director regarding designs, progress, risks, resolution of issues arising
- dealing with building control and planning applications and permits
- leading design team meetings, workshops, design reviews
- reviewing and commenting on information prepared by other consultants
Essential skills and experience:
- ARB registered, minimum three years of UK experience
- good technical knowledge with the ability to research and assimilate relevant information
- understanding of relevant building regulations and legislation
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- competent AutoCAD user
- good team working skills
- good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet strict deadlines
