Head of landscape
at Populous
Populous is seeking a head of landscape to join its London office.
In this role you will lead and manage projects from inception through to completion. Working within a multi-disciplinary environment, you will lead a small team to produce landscape architecture that provides context and cohesion and connects people to their environment. You will have the opportunity to grow the landscape architecture business through the effective delivery and management of contracts and strong relationships with clients.
You will ideally be a chartered landscape architect with a proven track record of delivering high profile national and international projects.
Your skills and experience will include:
- strong conceptual landscape and public realm design skills
- experience in Landscape Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) and masterplanning
- experience in managing projects through to construction stage
- ability to lead and mentor team members within a multi-disciplinary environment
- strong client management skills
- excellent report writing skills
- proficiency in CAD; Rhino and Revit are both essential
Experience in sports and event design is also desirable. Proficiency in Adobe Creative and Microsoft Office suites is assumed.
