Hawkes Architecture is recruiting a Part-I/Part-II architectural assistant to join its team in Kent, UK.
Hawkes Architecture are the only architectural practice in the UK to exclusively specialise in the design of ‘para 55’ houses of exceptional quality and innovative nature of design.
We are currently seeking a Part-I (we would also consider a Part-II) to join our studio, which is based on a farm in the Kent.
We are looking for someone who is:
- pro-active and an independent thinker
- organised
- experienced in 2D and 3D (we predominantly use SketchUp)
- exceptional presentation and page layout skills
- enjoys model making
- a great team player
- passionate and enthusiastic about architecture and rural landscapes
- with an eye for detail
Software skills preferred:
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- SketchUp
- MicroStation (we appreciate you are probably used to using other CAD software, so don’t worry!)
Our ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate high aptitude for creative design, the confidence to be involved in all stages of a project, and an eagerness to learn and discover, with an inquisitive attitude toward architecture and landscape.
