George and James Architects is seeking a Part 1 architectural assistant to join its studio in London.

Starting on 3 February or before if available, initially for three months.

You will:

• work Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm in our Bermondsey studio (one-hour unpaid lunch)
• be proficient using Vectorworks, SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign on Mac OS X
• be passionate about architecture, easy-going, confident, adaptive, creative and organised
• be able to work both independently and with other people

We will:

• pay you at least the London Living Wage (currently £10.75 per hour)
• give you 28 days paid holiday (including eight bank holidays) pro-rata
• offer you experience across all the RIBA work stages for your PEDR
• provide you with a reference for future jobs and material to include in your professional portfolio
