Part 2 architectural assistant/Part 3 architect
at DEDRAFT
DEDRAFT is looking for an experienced Part 2 architectural assistant or recently qualified Part 3 architect to join its London-based studio.
The practice is currently working on a wide range of private, residential projects at a variety of scales with many on or due to go to the site in the next few months. This is an opportunity to work as part of our small, close-knit team with a passion to see our ideas actually being realised.
The role would be perfect for someone looking to gain rounded project experience, running projects from concept through to completion or someone who feels a shift in scales from a larger practice would benefit their experience. You would be on site from week one and in direct communication with each and every participant in the architectural process.
We are looking for self-motivated candidates able to communicate fluently, learn fast and demonstrating a passion for architecture and design, with a confidence and ability to contribute fresh ideas.
Qualifications, qualities and experience:
- RIBA Part 2 or Part 3 qualified
- must have both studio and site experience in architectural practice (please do not apply without previous experience)
- confident, with good communication skills and experience of collaborative teamwork
- proficient at using CAD software and experience of 3D software
- excellent design and presentation skills, including hand drawings, detailing
- clear ability at building physical models would be beneficial
