L+ Architects is looking for a Part 1 intern in London.
The candidate will work on detailing/detailed design with some previous experience and excellent at SketchUp.

L+ Architects is looking for an intern architectural assistant (Part 1) to work on technical details, technical design and specifications to work on high-end residential projects from inception to completion. Extensive knowledge of building regulations and to start ASAP: Spanish an advantage but not essential, but good English is a prerequisite.
L+ Architects is a newly formed practice with a dynamic but small team of architects and garden designers. It is run by a highly experienced Principal Architect who has worked on many iconic commercial properties and high-end residential dwellings throughout the world. We are a RIBA chartered practice with a contemporary vision that specialises in bringing the outside-in and marrying ecology, sustainability and architecture in a contemporary approach.
Ideal candidates will have:
- architectural qualifications
- detailing and detailed design should be a passion
- excellent technical aptitude and detailing skills
- minimum of one+ year professional experience in high-end residential and commercial
- previous experience on a drawing package required
- creative flair and a conceptual approach to design
- enthusiasm and the ability to show initiative
- good presentation skills
- a team-player and working to make the team a success
- capacity to innovate and solve problems strong technological skills in 2D and 3D including SketchUp, InDesign and AutoCAD
Ideally looking for seven to eight hours per day plus Saturday mornings when busy. All candidates should be eligible to work in the UK.
