Cooke Fawcett Architects is looking for a Part 2 architectural assistant in London.
Established in 2015, Cooke Fawcett is an emerging practice based in Farringdon, London.
We are looking for a talented, motivated candidate to join our small energetic team. You will work on a range of residential, cultural and commercial projects at various project stages. You will work collaboratively and in parallel take responsibility for driving specific projects forward.
As part of our growing team you will be expected to contribute to design conversations and play an active role in the future development of Cooke Fawcett Architects.
Eligibility
We are interested to receive applications from recent graduates and from those with one to two years’ experience post-Part 2.
We are keen to meet candidates with:
- Part 2 qualification or equivalent, with previous experience in architectural practice
- self-motivation, ambition, enthusiasm and an ability to work well both as part of a team and independently
- a range of creative influences and imagination, as well as ability to show attention to detail and rigour in completing tasks accurately
- skills at presentation, communication, coordination and time management
- excellent 2D and 3D CAD skills which will include proficiency in Autocad, Rhino and ideally Revit
- excellent representation skills, including proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- experience producing computer generated images
- excellent command of both written and spoken English
- relevant work permit for working in the UK
