Part 2/junior Part 3 architect

MAD Atelier is hiring an experienced Part 2 or junior Part 3 architect to join its team in London.
MAD Martinelli Architecture & Design is looking for a full-time experienced Part 2 architectural assistant/Part 3 architect, to join its growing vibrant office in east London.
We are a process-led architectural design studio that delivers innovative, individual and functional architectural solutions. We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic architectural assistant/architect to join our small team.
Established in 2013 and specialised in residential architecture, we are now working on a wide range of projects. Mad recently opened their studio to the public with a concept showroom called Mad Atelier, featuring furniture, lighting, art and decorative objects.
Our portfolio includes new residential buildings, home extensions and refurbishments, gastronomic interiors, boutique hotels, mixed-use development schemes. Additionally, we also offer consulting services in urban planning and design.
Skills and attributes:
- experience working on residential projects
- ability to engage in all parts of the project from start to completion
- construction site experience
- experience with detailed technical design
- able to liaise successfully with contractors, engineers, consultants, local authorities as well as clients
- knowledge of planning policies and building regulations
- keen interest in current and emerging trends, interior design, new materials and furnishing
- able to take responsibility for own task and set goals and timelines with great attitude
- fast-working, problem solving, enthusiast, curious
- able to manage an assistant/intern
- fluent in English both written and spoken with excellent communication skills
- proficient with: MicroStation, SketchUp, 3D modelling softwares, Adobe Suite, Office
