Agenda 21 Architects Studio has an opportunity for an architect to join its practice in London.
Agenda 21 Architects Studio is a design-led practice based in Clerkenwell. Our current workload includes community and recreation buildings as well as residential developments, hotels and medical facilities.
We are seeking a Part 2 architectural assistant, or recently qualified Part 3 architect with at least one year previous UK practice experience to join our small but creative and busy studio.
This is a flexible, hands-on role for someone willing to grow with us and take on challenges.
Responsibilities:
- preparing and developing drawings, models, images and other documents relating to the design, using a variety of media
- helping to produce detailed working drawings and technical specifications
- assisting with the preparation of tender applications and presentations
- supporting client communications, including preparing and presenting design proposals
- assisting with project administration and management, from inception to completion
- preparing applications for planning and building control approvals
- liaising with councils
- interacting with statutory authorities, contractors and consultants
Requirements:
- Revit and AutoCAD experience (software skills will be tested in round two of the hiring process)
- at least one year experience working within a UK based architectural practice
- strong design and visualisation skills
- ability to respond proactively to direction or instruction
- good eye for detail and excellent presentation skills
- comfortable working as part of a team, or on your own as required
- ability to work well under pressure, and meet deadlines efficiently
- problem solving skills
- good written and spoken English
- eligible to live and work in UK
