Editorial internship

Dezeen is looking for an editorial intern to join its growing team in New York, USA.
Dezeen is the world’s most influential online design and architecture magazine with two million readers a month. We’re looking for a bright, friendly, helpful person to undertake an internship with our New York team at our office in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Applicants must be available to start in the next few weeks. You must also be able to work full-time for three months in New York City, with the ability to work flexibly from various locations and in communal environments.
You will be assisting the US editor and reporters with daily activities.
Duties will include:
- preparing images for publication
- assembling posts for the website
- sourcing, researching and writing stories
- transcribing interviews
- posting to social media
- maintaining archives and databases
- administrative tasks as they arise
Successful applicants will demonstrate excellent written and spoken English, strong research skills, a high level of computer literacy and good knowledge of the architecture and design industries.
The role would suit a student or recent graduate with an interest in pursuing a career in architecture and design publishing.
