Sheppard Robson is seeking a business development marketing and communications coordinator to join its team in Glasgow, Scotland.
Sheppard Robson is one of the UK’s most established architectural practices, with a reputation for thoughtful and responsible designs. The Glasgow studio is looking for an energetic, creative and versatile business development marketing and communications (BDMC) coordinator to join its team.
The role is to be the key point of contact in the 25-strong office for delivering bids and communications projects – often working alongside the practice’s wider BDMC team from its London and Manchester offices.
Key tasks include assisting in:
- collating and designing bid documents, presentations and related collateral
- updating the intranet, website and photography archive
- organising photographic shoots
- planning and delivering events
- keeping marketing materials up to date
- being the key point of contact for the studio’s external PR agency
- supporting the team with key administrative tasks when necessary
Requirements:
- confident using the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign
- an interest in architecture and design
- excellent attention to detail, in both the visual and written form
- experience in collating bid documents
- ability to working effectively within a team, supporting Sheppard Robson’s collaborative culture and ways of working
- a positive, can-do attitude that can balance creative work alongside more admin-based tasks
- clear and confident communication skills at all levels of hierarchy across the practice
- ability to keep calm under pressure, and organised with methodical planning
- disciplined time management, yet with flexibility in relation to deadlines
- a degree, or qualifications in a related subject, is desirable
