Camron PR has an opportunity for an account director to join its team in London.
Camron PR is seeking an upbeat and motivated account director to join its London office. The ideal candidate is a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with four-six years of experience in public relations. The candidate should have a proven track record of implementing successful PR campaigns and placing feature stories within top tier media. A strong understanding of and interest in design, culture and/or travel is key.
The individual who fills this position will be responsible for playing a major role in the execution of communication, event and creative strategies, while serving as deputy to the team’s senior associate director.
Responsibilities:
- provide strategic and tactical support to the senior associate director (team leader)
- generate feature placement in appropriate titles
- manage PR campaigns for a diverse portfolio of design, hospitality and lifestyle brands
- prioritise diverse workload and act as first point of contact across portfolio of accounts
- write and produce presentations, new business strategies and press releases
- organise promotional events such as press conferences, creative installations and press trips
- create pitching grids and media strategies planned to client priorities
- liaise with clients regarding press requests, events and overall strategy
- organise client media briefings and meetings
- line manage two members of staff
Job requirements:
- five plus years’ PR experience, agency experience a plus
- bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is a plus
- strong and established senior media relationships in design and lifestyle media
- strong experience in event management
- strategic thinker and team player with the ability to multi-task on a diverse portfolio of design and hospitality accounts
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- event experience and the ability to plan PR campaigns
- knowledge and/or interest of design, travel, home furnishings, arts or visual culture
