Senior technical architect

HTA Design has an opportunity for a senior technical architect to join its team in London.
HTA Design is an award-winning multidisciplinary design partnership of specialist teams working collaboratively in architecture, landscape architecture, communications, sustainability and planning.
The senior technical architect will be responsible for project delivery and should have extensive demonstrable experience of pre and post-planning stage projects. You will also have experience in the design of suburban housing and a passion for delivering more distinctively local places across the UK.
Contract: permanent
Salary: competitive
To be considered, the successful candidate will have:
- ARB-registered
- 5-10+ years post-Part 3 experience, including built projects
- a passion for working with communities to create sustainable places to live
- extensive experience of UK urban and/or suburban housing design and masterplanning
- exceptional technical ability
- strong design skills and attention to detail
- client and team focused – strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain good collaborative internal and external working relationships
- excellent people and project management skills with the ability to motivate, coach and mentor others
- a calm disposition with the ability to prioritise, organise, work under pressure and to meet project deadlines
- ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- a detailed knowledge of UK residential design standards and statutory requirements with evidence of their application over several projects
- first class AutoCAD and Revit skills and experience using SketchUp, Illustrator and InDesign
