Digital marketing manager
Carpenters Workshop Gallery is currently looking for a digital marketing manager to join its busy team in London.
Carpenters Workshop Gallery produces and exhibits functional sculptures by international artists and designers working outside their traditional territories of expression. It is an exciting, cutting edge gallery based in Mayfair and we are looking for an efficient, confident and hardworking digital marketing manager to join the team.
In this role, you will be required to develop and implement a social media strategy under the communication director. The social media plan will include and hold strategies that cover and exceed: brand development, user profiling and segmentation, analytic interpretation and content creation.
The candidate will hold an interest in the current art and design market. A marketing degree is welcomed but not required.
The gallery participates in a large number of global art fairs each year whilst holding exhibitions in our London, Paris and New York galleries. Working at Carpenters Workshop Gallery will give the opportunity to be involved in these events, giving the chance to experience the fast-paced creative and dynamic environment the gallery generates.
Responsibilities:
- develop relevant content topics
- build and grow collections of innovative content
- monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
- develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts
- analyse key metrics and tweak strategy as needed
- develop organisational elements such as content calendars and marketing automation
- compile analytical reports and be able to present them to management
Required key skills:
- strong communication skills
- high level of literacy and numeracy skills
- IT literate and confident in all office programs, Word, Excel
- good technical knowledge and be able to adapt to new working styles
- confidence in dealing with enquiries and decision making
- high proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite. (Photoshop, InDesign)
- proficient in social media content marketing theory and its application
- demonstrated creativity and documented immersion in the industry
- proven ability to multi-task
- keen eye for detail
- ability to work under pressure, without supervision as well as part of a team
