Acre Design is seeking a senior architectural technologist to join its team working remotely.
An experienced architectural technician (or architect) with specific experience in working on residential projects is required to join our small and friendly architecture practice. Working from home but living within the North East the job will entail.
Eligibility
An architectural technician is required to join our small and friendly architecture practice based in the North East of England but looking to expand.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- a minimum of four years experience working in practice in the UK
- advanced experience level in Revit
- full understanding of building regulations
- evidence of technical ability including construction plans and technical detailing
- has worked on residential extension projects
- a clean driving license would be good and access to a car for work use too
The post will be working from home full time (all hardware and licenses provided), so geographical location is not important, however a candidate based in the central belt of Scotland or in the North of England would be a plus.
Duties
The job will be primarily made up of:
- completion of existing plans from provided measured surveys (accuracy and attention to detail incredibly important)
- working with our architects and senior technician to create concept designs
- completion of technical plans for our projects
