HTA Design has an opportunity for a Part-II architectural assistant to join its London-based studio.

HTA Design LLP is an award winning multi-disciplinary design partnership of specialist teams working collaboratively in architecture, landscape architecture, communications, sustainability and planning.
An exciting opportunity exists for talented and ambitious Part-II architectural assistants within our busy design studio in Aldgate East, London. The role will involve working with our interdisciplinary teams on one or more of our medium to large scale housing and mixed-use projects in the UK.
We have exciting new schemes for a range of key clients including high density urban housing, sustainable lower density and regeneration projects. You will be working in a team on pre or post-planning stage projects, and should be able to demonstrate ability in these design stages. You will gain experience on mid and large scale developments whilst developing your design and professional skills.
To be considered, the successful candidate will have:
- Part-II architecture qualification or overseas equivalent
- at least one-two year’s experience working within a UK based architectural practice
- a passion for housing
- demonstrable experience in residential projects
- knowledge of UK residential design and statutory requirements
- exceptional design, technical and presentation skills, demonstrated through a well presented and organised portfolio
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact comfortably with people at all levels
- the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
- strong attention to detail and good problem solving skills
- a can-do attitude and commitment to own self development
- reliable with good timekeeping skills
- strong general IT and office administration skills
- experience of using all or some of the following software packages: MicroSoft Office applications, SketchUp, Photoshop, Adobe IndDsign, Illustrator and Lumion. AutoCAD and Revit are highly essential.
