Design manager
Martin Kemp Design is looking for a talented Design Manager to join its London-based team.
MKD is a highly creative design studio, producing some of the world’s finest solutions for interiors, developments, architecture, yachts, private jets, cars, furniture and product. Our focus is largely within the super-prime residential market but also embraces peripheral fields such as high-end retail, office and restaurant design.
The successful candidate should have:
- circa five years’ experience in a respected design firm, preferably super-prime residential or five-star hospitality/hotel/leisure – though not essential – either within a development environment or a studio based background
- frontline daily execution of project delivery
- coordination of specific project team
- attendance in presentations
- attendance in contractor/supplier meetings
- client facing
- fee/programme scheduling
- management of delivery
- document control and deadlines
The ideal candidate should also be willing to travel internationally, be open to working in a very friendly and collaborative environment, both efficiently and quickly to deadlines, and to work under their own initiative.
