Part-I architectural assistant
Vita Architecture is looking for a Part-I architectural assistant in London Bridge.
Vita Architecture is a small, young and energetic practice with work within the residential and educational sector.
We are looking for a creative and self driven Part-I architectural assistant to initially help on a series of detail technical packages but later will include concept design, model making and competition entries. The opportunity will also ensure that you receive on site experience periodically to ensure you’re receiving a balanced experience across all RIBA stages.
Responsibilities will include:
- technical detailing under the guidance of one of our directors
- model making
- 2D and 3D CAD drawings
- Photoshop graphics work
- administration – we encourage our staff to help all aspects of the company from marketing, blogging and general day to day administration
Skills and experience:
- RIBA Part-I or equivalent qualification
- ability to research and liaise directly with suppliers to complete detailing packages
- good knowledge of CAD packages – ideally MicroStation
- good knowledge of adobe packages – Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- physical modelling skills
- good written and verbal communication skills
- ability to work well within a team
- ability to manage time efficiently
