The role
We are looking for a production assistant to work on a part-time basis in our East London Studio, to be part of our small design and production team. You will be predominantly working alongside the production manager and production team to help create our high-end artworks from start to finish.
Salary: £21,000 – £24,000 pro rata
The right person will:
- have a great eye for detail and precision
- have experience working or studying in the creative sector (preferably textiles or surface design)
- eagerness to be hands on
- have basic upholstery skills (not required)
- have a good understanding of how materials perform and behave
- be able to think on their feet and problem solve when faced with challenges
- excellent communication skills
- be able to work with small and large areas of material (faux and genuine leather)
- be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining a high standard of finish
