K&H Design is seeking a senior interior architect to join its team in London.
Run by Katie Glaister and Henry Miller-Robinson, K&H Design is a client-focused interior design studio, providing original and refined design solutions for residential and commercial projects in Britain and across the world. Meticulous attention to detail and a thorough understanding of how people live are at the heart of all of our projects. We collaborate with craftspeople and specialists to create elegant, practical and thoroughly personal interiors. With no practice style we are at home working on both contemporary and classical projects. Good communication with our clients and suppliers underpins all of our work.
Katie and Henry are looking for an excellent senior interior architect with strong technical design co-ordination skills. The candidate must be able to demonstrate an aptitude for creating and producing technical drawings to meet the standards required by our clients and professional team whilst working closely with the creative director.
- reporting to the creative director
- excellent VectorWorks skills
- experienced at running projects from concept to completion
- responsible for all drawing packages
- experience in the high end residential sector and be able to demonstrate an empathy with all nuances of designing within the residential sector
- excellent organisation and project management skills
- problem solving and lateral thinking will be required
- excellent communication skills with professional team and client
- rigorous and structured in their approach
- ability to work to deadlines
- experienced at managing a team of designers to pull together a drawing package
- the go-to-staff member for all designers with technical queries
- ability to organise internal programming and workload
