Greig & Stephenson Architects are seeking a project architect to join its team in London.
We have a particular specialism in the design of public market buildings and are looking for a qualified project architect to join our growing practice in Highbury & Islington. The applicant should have a minimum of three years job running experience, with strong design and technical skills.
We are looking for individuals who bring their creativity, talent, and passion for architecture from a wide range of backgrounds.
You must have strong leadership skills and feel comfortable working on RIBA Stages 1 – 7
The opportunity
This role will provide project ownership and will enable you to develop yourself with a degree of autonomy, whilst having the full support of senior members in the office and managing a team of talented architects.
Requirements
In order to be considered for this opportunity, applicants should meet the majority, ideally all, of the following requirements:
- relevant architectural/construction qualifications
- AutoCAD and Revit are essential
- experience of contract administration
- strong knowledge of UK statutory regulations
- skilled across the majority of RIBA stages, from early design to technical construction stages
- excellent design and spatial planning skills
- time management skills and highly organised working methods
- able to prioritise challenging deadlines and work independently on one’s own initiative
- liaise effectively and efficiently with other members of the team and also external consultants, contractors and sub-contractors
- confident in key Adobe Creative Suite programmes
- excellent written and spoken English
- confident communicator, able to liaise positively with clients and project consultants
Salary will be determined by a candidate’s individual experience.
