Rolfe Judd Architecture is seeking a marketing manager to join its team in London.
We are a dynamic and busy practice with a wide range of work that differs in sector, location, scale and complexity. With a head office in London, we have architectural, town planning and interior design teams working alongside our two satellite architectural offices in Poland and a planning office in Liverpool. Managing the marketing and business development strategies across our architectural, interiors and planning disciplines. The role will work alongside a wider marketing team including a graphics manager and communications officer who, alongside RJ directors, will look to shape how Rolfe Judd is presented to the outside world.

We’re looking for a well organised and creative marketer who will be responsible for the growth of our channels and brand guardianship within group marketing.
You will manage the delivery of all elements of the marketing plan from; creation, delivery, tracking and analysis of marketing activity, managing the marketing budget and ensuring that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity.
Lead generation, brand amplification and varying business unit led campaigns are key goals for the Rolfe Judd marketing team.
The position will be working on behalf of the whole Rolfe Judd brand whilst also serving the individual sub-brands of Architecture, Town Planning, Interiors and Rolfe Judd Poland. It will report to individual directors and provide regular reporting to the boards.
Responsibilities:
- manage the marketing function and supporting departments to deliver the marketing plan on time, always with a focus on getting the desired results
- manage the marketing calendar to deliver on time and ensure there is a steady and purposeful flow of activity
- campaign management and development – plan, manage, brief, execute offline and online marketing campaigns to drive new business opportunities of different services and report on performance and learnings. Work closely with department representatives of regional offices to tailor group marketing plans to local areas including support with website development, digital marketing, media relations and hubspot
- align marketing activity to target existing clients/new markets through account-based marketing programmes, working directly with the business development lead for the account
- understand overall business objectives and contribute to strategic direction. Act as guardian of the Rolfe Judd brand. Develop and deploy specific marketing plans in support of overall strategy
- relationship management – raise the profile of marketing and its service provision across business units. Work closely with internal stakeholders across the group and external supporting agencies to achieve business growth
- manage internal and external communications
- work closely with the business development lead to regularly identify leads suitable for follow up meetings with directors
- report on both strategic and tactical performance of the marketing departments activities and results to the directors with recommendations for improvements on a regular basis
- act as guardian of the Rolfe Judd brand. Manage a team of brand guardians to ensure brand consistency through all business channels, in line with brand guidelines
- work on specific marketing opportunities and proposals, outside of the marketing plan and on new priorities identified
- manage a content calendar to produce and deliver valuable, inspiring, educational content that attracts and converts our target groups. Using a range of content types from white papers, blogs, infographics, video, podcasts, webinars, events, as deemed suitable for the intended audience
- prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis
Requirements:
- degree/equivalent qualification/experience in marketing related field
- proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading cross channel marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate an audience to action
- solid experience of marketing management within the services sector, with a proven track record of success
- strong experience of B2B digital campaigns, website management and content development
- experience of joined up marketing and business development to support business objectives
- good understanding of managing, analysing and utilising data in campaigns and lead identification
- commercial understanding and strong analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and translate into relevant tactics
- creative with ability to think laterally and come up with new/ unique ideas
- excellent written, verbal communications and presentation skills
- up to date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement
- personable and approachable with an ability to influence and change mindsets at all levels of the business through personal credibility and impact
- a strong team player with a positive attitude who is committed, collaborative and adaptable with a passion for excellence
- a strong user of all things digital
- strong organisational skills
Desirable skills/experience:
- higher professional qualification – preferred Digital marketing or CIM
- experience of developing and executing account-based marketing programmes to key customers and prospects
- experience of customer analysis, customer journey mapping and persona development
- previous marketing and business development role linked with KPI’s to grow key clients and support activity
- experience using Hubspot & Microsoft products
- experience of managing a variety of events
