Palm Heights is hiring a construction project manager to join its team in Grand Cayman.
Overview
Palm Heights is looking to hire an experienced, self-motivated and passionate project manager to manage multiple new construction sites in Grand Cayman. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a number of exciting leisure and hospitality sites.
Key responsibilities:
- procuring quotes and contracts
- identifying and liaising with subcontractors
- budgeting projects and scheduling
- hands-on approach to site management
- keeping projects on schedule and to specification
- ordering and researching materials and fabrication techniques
- timetabling fabrication and keeping records of project costs and staff time
- project feasibility, value engineering proposals, providing technical solutions, carrying out site surveys/measurements
Skills:
- highly organised, proactive and efficient project manager
- clear verbal and written communication
- confidence in liaising with suppliers, contractors and clients
- working knowledge of office software/organisational software
- understanding and assessing site-fitting and installation
Highly desirable:
- minimum of six years project management experience
- experience working in an entrepreneurial structure
