Rolfe Judd has an opportunity for a junior workplace designer to join its team in London.

Rolfe Judd is an award-winning architectural practice renowned for our high-quality architecture, working on a broad range of projects across sectors including commercial, residential and urban regeneration.

Our practice is seeking to hire a junior workplace designer with a strong passion for developing workplace solutions. As well as excellent design, communication and presentation skills to join its growing team, to work on an expanding portfolio of commercial projects in the UK. If you are inventive and energetic and interested in being part of our team, we would like to hear from you and give you the opportunity for an exciting design future.

Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • put sustainability and wellbeing at the heart of their designs
  • have a portfolio that illustrates they can work sensitively with the existing fabric of buildings
  • illustrate an understanding of how to blend and contrast interior finishes and materials to create inspiring workplace designs
  • the ability to problem solve and react to emerging market demands with new ideas
  • passion for creativity, with strong conceptual design skills which you are confident in presenting in a variety of media
  • an ability to listen, discuss, debate solutions with the project team
  • proficiency in working with Revit and Autocad
  • proficiency in 3D modelling packages (Sketchup)
  • be fluent in Adobe creative suite
  • exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written with a fluency in English

Ideally the candidate will have an appreciation of:

  • relevant office standards
  • WELL, BREEAM, Embodied carbon and Lifecycle carbon analysis

This position is only available to applicants based in the United Kingdom and applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Remuneration and benefits are offered based on skills and experience.
