Waterland Associates are looking for Part 2/3 architects to join our growing practice in Peterborough, UK.
We are a small, busy, design led practice with a broad portfolio; the successful candidate(s) will initially work on education and residential architecture.
We seek lively, passionate all-rounders with a desire to further their experience across all work stages in a friendly, collaborative practice environment.
In the short term, the successful applicants will undertake most of their work remotely. We will provide fully equipped workstations for home working.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following core skills either within their CV or portfolio:
- a robust design methodology and the ability to self-motivate
- proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Suite
- experience with the planning system
- working knowledge of the building regulations
- an understanding of contract documentation
- good written and spoken English
- full UK drivers licence and access to personal transport for regular team meetings and site visits (please note our office and most of our workload is in the Northamptonshire/Cambridgeshire area)
- must like dogs (non-negotiable!)
