FF&E procurement lead at Millier
Millier, an international interior architecture and design studio, is looking for a self-motivated FF&E procurement lead to join its small yet busy team in Marylebone, London. This is a very exciting opportunity for someone to grow and lead the way in our rapidly expanding team.
We are looking for someone who loves managing the delivery and implementation stages and has a good understanding of FF&E. The candidate should be highly organised, have a very good eye for detail and extremely meticulous, efficient with administrative tasks and problem solving, comfortable managing a team, very good communication skills, and preferably have an eye for design detailing.
The ideal candidate will be reporting to the associate interior designer and working alongside the whole FF&E design team to assist with the design specification, ordering, administration, and procurement of the FF&E design and supply design packages on private residential and development schemes.
It will be the candidate’s responsibility to ensure the supply of goods is delivered on time, within budget, and in the most efficient manner ensuring the accountant and design team are kept informed of all necessary compliance. You will be expected to hold strong relationships with the rest of the team and suppliers, ensuring regular and open communication and team work.

Key responsibilities
- collaborate with team principal and FF&E design team to ascertain timeline, budget and deadlines of the project
- develop a procurement strategy and work with the designers on supplier selection
- prepare initial FF&E budget with design team to develop a relevant FF&E programme for client
- managing projects within schedule and budget
- managing FF&E tender process and negotiating best terms with new suppliers
- assist the FF&E designer with sourcing all the information necessary to complete the detailed specification document
- creating, issuing and managing purchase orders to suppliers. Checking quotations and invoices
- ensuring that all items that are being ordered are compliant with any necessary regulations (eg. fire regulations on commercial projects)
- managing all supplier communications and monitoring development of the project against agreed deadlines
- working closely with the finance team to ensure that all payments are made in timely manner and all paperwork is in order
- administrate and track all orders in the purchase process providing timely updates to principal FF&E designer and team
- organising third party storage and freight/delivery services
- planning and carrying out factory visits along with FF&E design team to monitor progress of bespoke FF&E and ensure QC is being met
- scheduling installation with all parties. On site inspection and liaising with contractors
- preparing the final reconciliation pack to present to the client with all procurement documents, FF&E warranties and FR certificates
- managing a procurement assistant
Salary will be determined by a candidate’s individual experience.
