Studio manager

Ennismore is seeking a studio manager to join its team in London.
We’re looking for a talented studio manager to join us for a 12-month maternity cover contract.
Reporting to the Design Director, you will sit on the Interior Design Team, and be a key part of the management of the studio of around 20 designers.
Accounts admin:
- revenue and cost management, tracking and forecasting
- manage internal cross charging process
- manage project invoicing for the studio
- manage studio budget, including the approval of invoices
- responding to studio accounts queries
Resource management and team admin:
- management and allocation of resource within the interior design team
- ownership and communication of the interior design studio master project programme
- collaboration with those necessary to plan project scheduling of works
- manage team meetings, resource meetings and management meetings to enable continued progress and promote team communication
- manage time tracking software, users and projects
- promote and drive collaborative working with internal teams
- promote team development strategies
Recruitment and HR:
- forward planning of resource management and recruitment
- liaise with team to establish resource and freelance requirements
- liaise with all parties to onboard new recruits
- complete necessary documentation for freelance onboarding
- monitor freelance and resource costs
- promote IR35 compliance
- promote new HR processes with the people team when required

You should have:
- previous experience of managing a creative studio
- strong knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel
- knowledge of RIBA stages
- experience in project accounting/project invoicing
- the ability to work well independently, proactively, and efficiently
- strong attention to detail
- a proven track record of being highly organised
- the ability to work under pressure with a collaborative working style
- the drive and ambition to work within a highly contemporary, dynamic and creative real estate business
