SUSD London is looking for a project architect/manager to join its team in London.
SUSD London is a creative real estate consultancy, designing and developing multi-use hotel, coworking and residential schemes. Acting as architect and developer, SUSD has delivered award-winning projects.
Based in Notting Hill, London, we are looking for a fully qualified architect with a minimum of five years experience with on-site projects and strong project management skills.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in dealing with the administration of contracts, building regulation compliance, management of budgets, project programming and on-site delivery. Their role is to get the project built on time and to budget whilst protecting the integrity of the design and ensuring full compliance with regulations. Additionally, the candidate will have an attention to detail and a strong visual awareness, with experience of working from design development through to producing construction documents. A proven track record of project management and team leadership on the design and delivery of large, complex projects is expected.
Knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction technology, UK planning policies and procurement methods, as well as good communication (excellent spoken and written English) and organisational skills, are essential. Full working experience of Vectorworks is preferred but not essential.
