Sculptivate is seeking a studio manager to join its design agency in London.
Salary: £25-30K
A leading multi-disciplinary design studio in Queen’s Park looking for a studio manager to join their successful team.
This is an integral role to the agency – You will play a huge part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the studio.
You will be highly organised, enthusiastic, hardworking with the ability to multitask and prioritise under pressure.
You will be comfortable in a small, tight knit team and will be totally happy working on your own initiative as well as working as part of a group.
You will be bright, proactive and diligent with a great attitude and come with a robust and flexible nature.
Your responsibilities as studio manager will include:
- creating and maintaining the weekly, monthly and long-term schedule for the studio
- ensuring all projects are planned and resourced for in the most effective way possible
- maintaining holiday requests, coordinating appraisals, recording annual leave and sickness
- building maintenance
- IT support including set up for new starters, management of servers and Dropbox, software licences and budgets, management of 3rd party IT support company
- setting up freelancers and new starters to work in the studio or remotely, including desk, tech, email, computers
- health and safety support including inducting new starters on procedures, keeping record of fire safety regulations, reviewing, and implementing company H&S policies
- managing the social happenings of the studio – birthdays, summer and Christmas parties, team socials etc
Requirements:
- one to two years’ experience in a similar role
- driving licence
- the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- strong organisational and time management skills
- excellent written and verbal communication
- strong attention to detail
- a background in a creative environment is desired
