Marc Newson is seeking an interior AutoCAD technician to join its team in London.
Marc Newson is one of the most acclaimed and influential designers of his generation. He has worked across a wide range of disciplines, creating everything from furniture and household objects, to bicycles and cars, private and commercial aircraft, yachts, various architectural commissions, and signature sculptural pieces for clients across the globe.
Job description:
- creation and production of full technical drawing packages, including plans, elevations, and design intent technical detailing
- assist with and produce joinery detailing packs
- 12-week fixed-term contract (with potential for renewal)
- London-based studio role
General and technical requirements:
- experience working on luxury commercial or residential interior projects
- marine experience would be an asset
- excellent AutoCAD skills demonstrating excellent technical ability for putting together detailed drawing packages
- experience producing design packages through to construction detailing and specification documents
- impeccable attention to detail and strong work ethic
- good time management and organisational skills; delivering work on time and to a high standard as part of a team
- must have the legal right to work in the UK/sponsorship not available
