There is a vacancy for an industrial designer at nFRONTIER to join its team in Berlin, Germany.

We work in the following industries: mobility sector, construction/architecture, consumer products, factory of the future and medical tech. Our international team of creative professionals is looking for an industrial designer who can help us to create beautiful, sustainable products that create an impact by utilising the latest and emerging technologies. You will be part of our multidisciplinary team consisting of architects, engineers and designers.
We are looking for someone who is able to think outside the box, likes going the extra mile and has an excellent understanding of what is feasible from a functional, sustainable and the clients perspective. You should be committed, a fantastic team player and have a great understanding of aesthetics and detail.
Responsibilities:
- work closely with head of design to conceptualise new products from the initial concept phase to a working prototype
- develop working prototypes together with our multi-disciplinary team in order to bring our designs to life
- create graphically appealing and convincing narratives for presentations
- work closely with our project managers and ensure deadlines are delivered on schedule
- promote the philosophy, values, and beliefs of the company
Essential:
- a degree in industrial design
- excellent 3D surfacing skills Rhino
- other software skills: 3D Visualisation/Animation Keyshot, VR Keyshot, Adobe Creative Suite
- knowledge in using digital prototyping tools such as 3D-Printing, CNC
- good knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and strong mechanical design skills
- experience in creating technical drawings for production
- ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- must be an idea driven problem solver
- incredible attention to detail
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- strong organisational and time management skill
- self starter and ability to work autonomously
- confident and creatively authentic presentation skills
- a collaborative nature and love for working with other creative disciplines
- ability to start working with us ASAP
- must be able to work in the EU
Desirable:
- Grasshopper
- AR/VR knowledge
- experience in transportation design
