OMA is seeking a junior business developer to join its office in Rotterdam.
OMA Rotterdam is looking for a junior business developer to join our BD team as soon as possible. The team is responsible for actively developing, acquiring and assessing potential projects, conducting market research and following up on market opportunities worldwide.
As junior business developer, you will be an integral part of the business development team. In this position, you will be responsible for and assist with the initial assessment of potential new projects, preparation of RFI’s, RFQ’s, RFP’s and client proposals, and maintaining an overview of incoming inquires. You will also be required to prepare regular progress updates, develop marketing material and provide active support to the team.
Requirements:
- MA/BA degree in architecture (candidates with a real estate background and an affinity with architecture will also be considered)
- excellent command of the English language – written and spoken (other languages such as German or Dutch are an asset)
- experience in responding to RFI’s, RFQ’s, RFP’s, and client proposals
- commercial drive
- ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
- interest in and affinity with market research
- self-disciplined, pro-active and confident in a dynamic working environment
- excellent communication and organisational skills
- skilled in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office
- understanding of architecture, master planning and/or the art and design world is recommended
