JAAM architects is seeking a Part 2/3 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
JAAM architects, a high-end, design-led residential practice based in South West London, are seeking an ambitious and energetic Part 2/3 architectural assistant to join our team.
Based in Clapham, our practice offers full architectural and project management services, from inception through to completion. We have a small and highly skilled team of professionals with a shared passion for client management and design at every level.
Required skills and experience
- experience in delivering high-end residential projects through all RIBA work stages
- skilled and highly motivated with a passion for contemporary architecture and interior design
- strong work ethic with the ability to work both as a team and on their own initiative
- proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite as well as the confidence to express design ideas through hand-sketching, physical and 3D model-making
- excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
- friendly and personable
Role and responsibilities:
- to actively engage with clients, consultants, contractors and other construction professionals
- ensure the high-quality delivery of written/drawn information and input into design ideas
- attend and help with site inspections, client and contractor meetings
