Adam Khan Architects is hiring a studio manager to join its team in London.

Adam Khan Architects is seeking a part time studio manager to help with the day-to-day running of the practice. We are looking for a bright, ambitious, communicative person with a positive attitude, attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills. The position encompasses a variety of responsibilities with the possibility to grow and develop.

We are a small, friendly, award-winning practice engaged with significant urban renewal and arts projects in London and across Europe. We are socially and environmentally conscious and are looking for someone who can share our ethos and keenness to improve the world around us, with a sensitivity to design and graphic material and a desire to develop your understanding of architecture and design.

You should be fluent in using Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel. Knowledge of Adobe Suite – InDesign and Acrobat, and Xero is desirable.

Ideally you would work 25-30 hours/week. Working hours are flexible.

Salary is competitive and depends on experience.

Interviews on a rolling basis – early applications are advised.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and ideally be available to start in January 2022.

This position involves

Studio administration:

  • managing incoming calls and emails
  • looking after the studio premises
  • supporting the architects team with IT related needs
  • providing PA support to senior associates and directors, incl. diary arrangements

Finance and insurance:

  • liaising with bookkeeper regarding invoices
  • liaising with insurance broker

HR:

  • keeping record of holidays and being present for all employees queries
  • liaising with payroll and pension providers

Presentations/PR:

  • assisting with entries for design awards
  • assisting with bids submissions
