Landscape architect

Sebastian Cox is seeking a landscape architect to join its team for a project starting early in 2022.
As designers and furniture makers we are connected to the land at many levels, and for the first time have been asked to formally shape a 200 acre landscape, within Greater London. We need someone with the skills to bring our vision for this land to life as a cultivated wild space full of moments of rich experience for visitors to it, and full of biodiversity and bioabundance.
The ideal candidate would have the creative and organisational skills to develop a masterplan for the site with us, prioritising both human and non-human needs; vistas and moments of engagement, with habitat creation and herbivore-driven wilding.
Experience of Countryside Stewardship Scheme and other RPA grants would be very useful.
Please note this is a single-project basis initially, but we aim to add this project to our studio’s offering, so the intention is to establish a longer-term working relationship with the candidate for future projects.
