Ecommerce sales & design coordinator

Adventures in Furniture is seeking an ecommerce sales and design coordinator to join its team in London.
Come join our small team of friendly staff in our N16 head office. This is a great opportunity to hone your ecommerce and design skills. This role involves website management, sales and design within a small but expanding business and provides an opportunity to get involved in all aspects of ecommerce including reporting and strategic aspects.
Key activities:
- leading the development of the Adventures in Furniture site, managing changes to the structure, design and platform with the external web development team – daily and project management
- managing content, creating accurate and engaging copy for new products and ranges, ensuring regular home page updates
- delivering marketing strategy for e-commerce by liaising with our e-commerce partners, ensuring KPIs met
- responding to sales queries generated from website
- pro-actively engaging customers via live chat and telephone
- managing database of contract/interior design clients
- developing a multi-channel marketing and promotions calendar and delivering a regular e-newsletter programme
- designing marketing material for exhibitions and visual display
Your profile and skills
We are looking for someone who loves beautiful furniture and enjoys the working atmosphere of small businesses, plus:
- experience of working in ecommerce in a retail environment

experience working with Magento 2

an ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload to successfully meet deadlines

excellent communication skills, including great command of written and spoken English; the ability to write compelling copy for web, email etc.

a keen eye for detail and excellent administrative skills

an understanding of, and experience utilising, social media platforms

familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

familiarity with visual content sites (Vimeo) and video incorporation

familiarity with Google Analytics, HTML, CSS

understanding search engine optimisation
