Amos and Amos is hiring a design assistant to join its team in London.

Amos and Amos are looking for a talented and meticulous design assistant for a two to three month contract to join our dynamic studio team.

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate:

• in depth knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Vectorworks 2D and SketchUp
• experience in contemporary residential interior design with a strong portfolio and technical drawings
• a high level of attention to detail
• close internal communication with the rest of the design team
• an ability to work to the highest of standards, and meet demanding deadlines
• confidence, organisation and a proactive approach
• a keen eye for detail and passion for your work
• a strong ability to self-manage, and be proactive without guidance

Key responsibilities:

• translating design concepts into tender schedules and information packs to include lighting, FF&E, finishes and joinery
• a considerable part of the role will be translating 3D joinery visuals into full specification documentation so a thorough understanding of interior joinery construction is essential
• working closely with the design director and wider design team to ensure consistency from concept to technical packs, and a fully joined up end product ready for tender

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established award winning team with the possibility to grow the position in the future. The role will be based full time at our studio in London. The applicant must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Salary dependant on experience.
