Marketing assistant

Lanserring is hiring a marketing assistant to join its team in London.
12 month fixed-term contract (maternity cover)
Lanserring are looking for a talented and ambitious individual to assist our marketing department for a fixed term contract. Located in the heart of Notting Hill, we design and make bespoke luxury kitchens, furniture and lifestyle products for clients around the world.
The role
As well as assisting the team in developing and implementing the marketing strategy, you will get the opportunity to work with the team in the following areas:
- digital – assist with managing social media and marketing calendars, help maintain and update the website, implement our digital marketing strategy, contribute to the creation of the digital newsletter, post and monitor on social media channels, work collaboratively with the overall team on concept launches
- content – generate fresh ideas and write copy in the Lanserring tone of voice
- events – help to organise Lanserring events, research and attend key industry events
- Reporting and administration – track new leads, monitor competitor activity, research new software and platforms, contribute to the monthly marketing report, maintain our contact database
- PR – liaise with our external PR agency to provide them with information and press material, record all press coverage, publicise press coverage on social media/website
Who you are:

- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong attention to detail as you will be writing, editing and proof-reading content
- design skills, particularly in creating online digital assets and print materials
- the ability to work to tight deadlines and schedules without compromising quality
- working knowledge of IT packages including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign/Photoshop) and Microsoft
- a strong grasp of social media
- marketing/PR/communications student or graduate is advantageous
- ideally you will have had experience (work placement or internship) in one of the following: marketing, PR, luxury or design
