Maccreanor Lavington is seeking an HR manager to join its team in London.
We are award-winning architects and urbanists with a team of 90 people across two friendly studios in London and Rotterdam. We are seeking an experienced HR manager to join our London team to deliver the full remit of HR across the business.
As the sole HR professional for the UK business the HR manager will work independently to ensure the efficient day-to-day running whilst liaising with the team in Rotterdam to ensure a consistent approach across the two studios. You’ll be committed to best practice, enhancing what we do and helping to shape the direction of our People strategy and culture. You’ll work in collaboration with the management team, guiding and coaching on policy, procedure and employment related issues.
The role includes all aspects of HR including recruitment, performance and appraisal, learning and development, employee relations, benefits and reward, and EDI. It is a varied role requiring someone that is able to manage multiple projects and priorities. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of employment law, strong communication skills and sound judgement, with the proven ability to resolve difficult situations.
As a minimum this role requires CIPD Level 5 coupled with a commitment to personal learning and ongoing development.
