Camron PR is seeking an account manager to join its team in London.
Camron is looking for an account manager to work across its global real estate, design, culture, luxury and lifestyle portfolio. The role oversees worldwide communications for a set of international clients in design, arts, travel, luxury and property. The ideal candidate will have four plus years’ relevant experience across multiple sectors, and be available to travel, working with media internationally. The role is fast-paced and dynamic. The portfolio requires a polished, professional, organised individual, with a finger-on-the-pulse of cultural happenings and a passion for the luxury and creative industries.
The account manager will report directly to an account director and work closely with an associate director and group director.
Experience within an agency is an asset and previous work within a team environment is essential. Proficiency in languages additional to English will be an asset.
Responsibilities:
- securing coverage (features as well as news placement) in a cross-category range of publications as well as key national and international magazines, newspapers, broadcast and online media outlets
- leveraging strong, international media relationships to secure best placement for clients and campaigns
- writing, editing and advising on client press materials, with strong copywriting an asset
- oversee launch events, press events and campaign openings including creative development, guest lists and media coverage
- devising and implementing PR timelines, creative strategies and annual plans alongside senior team
- generating ideas and initiatives to support media storytelling, and creating strong partnership proposals for clients as part of the team
- project managing international press trips
- day-to-day client management, with a close attention to detail
- overseeing junior team members on media clippings and reports, and keeping media databases up to date
- working with the senior leadership to manage client campaigns and taking ownership of specific projects
Desired skills and experience:
- ideally four to five years of PR experience working with innovative, leading clients across the fields listed
- strong relationships with media and demonstrable publicity experience
- a keen knowledge of social media and digital channels will be an asset
- a creative mind and an ability to think outside the box
- excellent written, communication and presentation skills
- strong project experience
- international media experience a bonus
