Mid-senior industrial/product and furniture designers

Snøhetta is seeking mid-to senior-level industrial, product and furniture designers to join our growing product design team in Oslo, Norway.
As part of our dedicated and positive team you will join us in the pursuit of becoming one of the leading design authorities within our field. We believe you have five to ten something years of experience from other reputable studios and/or brands, leading and supporting complex and conceptual product developments from conceptual ideas to finished products and market launches. You are still learning, but also you have a lot to teach us.

Formal requirements and competence:
- master’s degree in a relevant subject
- proven and relevant experience from the product design industry
- experience taking complex and technically challenging projects from initial concept to finished products
- excellent 3D modelling skills with in-depth understanding of technical and manufacturing knowledge
- proven experience within lighting and furniture design are highly appreciated
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- lead and support multiple projects from initial ideation to final product and market launch
- strategic ideation and opportunity discovery to fulfill each projects potential based on real insight and knowledge
- design development through excellent 3D modeling skills, rendering and prototyping
- develop and hold amazing presentations to align our vision with collaborators and clients
- manage project and client relationships and expectations in a professional way
- be a great person and contributor to the team

- excellent communication skills
- proactive, flexible, and open to challenges
- structured, punctual, and organised
- someone who prefers doing it over talking about it
- comfortable in deep water
