Junior product developer
at Case Furniture

Case is looking for a junior product developer to join its growing London-based team.

About the job

This is a full-time, office-based role involved in all aspects of the development process from concept to production of new furniture and home accessories.

Role requires:

  • create 2D and 3D technical drawings for production
  • modelling and rendering new product concepts for internal review
  • researching and ensuring new products are compliant to current regulations
  • creating product instructions/product manuals/specification sheets
  • designing and ensuring that the packaging passes any regulations/testing required
  • reviewing prototypes
  • research for new product ideas/creating graphic mood boards and presentations
  • designing exhibition displays and installation of exhibitions

Working closely with the rest of the development team, designers and suppliers, strong communication and organisational skills are essential.

Key attributes:

  • ability to develop furniture/accessories from concept to final production
  • experience with Rhino, V-Ray, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
  • a structured mindset with good time management
  • technical problem solving
  • outgoing, dynamic and collaborative
  • fluent in English, oral and written
  • willing to occasionally travel overseas
