Summary
Assist in preparing complete and accurate working plans and detailed drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes by performing the following duties.
Required qualifications: b.arch or m.arch from an accredited school of architecture
Essential job responsibilities:
- six or more years’ of architecture practice experience (including at least one year of US experience)
- strong design portfolio
- managing clients with multiple projects
- maintaining relationships with clients to provide a high level of service
- involvement with pre-design and programming phases of a project
- overseeing the production of design documents
- guiding and producing all document phases of a project, SD, DD, CD and CA
- coordinating project consultant efforts
- strong collaboration and organizational skills are a must
- hands-on approach and flexibility are a must
- consults in the planning, design and coordination of large complex projects
- responsible for technical design aspects of an assigned major project including investigation, evaluation and recommendations
- provide technical guidance to less experienced staff
- carries out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures
- knowledge of local building code is required
- serving as the technical leader and project manager for significant development projects. The ability to manage several simultaneous projects is a requirement, overlooking different project teams
- establishing the initial project schedule and regular maintenance of project schedules. This activity includes the recommendation of appropriate staffing for each design activity
- strong project management skills
- experience with Revit is preferred
- US architecture license is preferred
