Nicolas Tye Architects is seeking a project architect to join its office in Bedfordshire.
Nicolas Tye Architects is a chartered practice working on projects all over the United Kingdom and internationally, focusing on residential sector work.
Qualified Architect candidates will need a strong design sensibility and exceptional technical detailing skills with on-site construction experience.
Candidates who wish to apply should demonstrate the following:
- a proven ability to work to tight deadlines
- experience in preparing, planning, building regulation, tender and construction information packages
- experience of managing a project from initial client contact to project completion (we provide our team with the ability of responsibility to our projects)
- demonstrable experience in technical detailing, preparation of tender and construction documents
- high proficiency in CAD drafting and document management
- Vectorworks experience ideally (not essential)
- three years of office experience running your projects
- excellent time management skills and an ability to manage multiple deadlines
- excellent communication skills, English fluency is essential. Successful candidates will be expected to liaise directly with clients, consultants, contractors and local authorities
- knowledge of UK building regulations and planning policy is essential along with on site contractual administration experience
