Aram Contracts is hiring sales support to join its team in London.

The trade team at Aram is expanding and we need additional sales support.

Aram Contracts has supplied furniture and lighting to high profile projects for over fifty years. Our portfolio covers a wide variety of sectors including residential, commercial, arts and education. We pride ourselves on our outstanding customer service, knowledge of a diverse range of products and passion for design.

Main duties include:

• working closely with the trade sales team in their promotion of Aram Trade to the London A&D community
• general administrative support to the team including, but not limited to, answering phones, organising samples, ordering stationery and booking travel
• developing relationships with existing clients to assist when sales team are out of the office
• day to day management of the trade showroom on Drury Lane, ensuring it is tidy and presentable
• assisting sales team when they have meetings in the showroom, including making coffees and teas
• raising quotations and pricing projects in MS Excel for sales team
• ordering material/furniture samples for meetings and projects
• to assist with organisation of client events and trips
• keeping materials library up to date with manufacturers

You must have/must be:

• a professional telephone manner
• a proactive team player, happy to help with all sorts of tasks
• excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
• fluent in spoken and written English
• organised and able to use initiative, and prioritise tasks
• absolute attention to detail in all written communications, presentations and pricing documents

It would be an advantage if you also have/are:

• an interest in furniture and design
• a knowledge of the design and furniture industry in London
• keen to learn and use product design software (e.g. USM CAD, FurnishPro Montana)
• an interest to keep updated with manufacturers new products
• an understanding of how project management works
