Jacuna is seeking an architect to join its team in London.

Jacuna is at the forefront of the rapidly growing dark kitchen industry with over 10 national locations serving 100s of the UK’s most loved and innovative food brands, with significant growth planned in the coming years. Dark kitchens are typically delivery-only kitchens with no customer frontage from which brands can prepare and deliver high-quality food to customers living or working nearby via apps such as Deliveroo, Uber Eats, and Just Eat.

Jacuna is looking for an outstanding Architect to join the team as we continue to build out new sites across the UK.

Role responsibilities:

• design and develop schemes for new and existing commercial kitchen sites
• support in the design feasibility of sites as we grow across the UK
• create technical drawings and specifications which continue to improve as we grow
• ensure that all design are fully compliant to the local statutory requirements
• interact with the restaurants in our kitchens to receive input and improve our product

Qualifications and skills:

• qualified Architect with two plus years’ experience or equivalent
• fluent in AutoCAD and Revit is essential
• fluent in Adobe and related digital graphics software is desirable
• experience in managing sites, coordinating consultants, running tenders and detailed design
• self-motivated, self-managing and highly organised with a strict attention to detail
• strong English-speaking and writing skills required
• ability to communicate effectively with clients, developers, consultants and local councils

Compensation:

• 35,000-45,000 GBP per annum
